Panch Phoron - Panch Phoran

Panch phoron, (panchphoran, panchphoron), is a spice blend made from five whole spice seeds. Panch phoron is very popular in the eastern India. It is integral part of Bengali, Assamese, and Oriya cuisines. The mixture is added to vegetables or dal. It is often used with Bengali fish. Following fives spices are mixed to get panch phoron.
