Nutmeg (Jaifal) Powder

Nutmeg Powder is brown in color. It has a strong flavor and is very similar to mace. It has a slight sweet flavor. Nutmeg Powder makes a wonderful addition to cheese sauces. It is used often in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines as well.
It is also called Jaiphal or Jaifal.
It is used in dessert preparations like custards, puddings, pies, pastries, and souffles.
Also widely used in preparing flavored milk.
