Kites With Charkhi - (Patangs - Pattams)

This is a set of 10 Kites along with a strong Charkhi (Manja or Manga)
The Big Indian Store gives you a chance to indulge in India's favorite pastime "Kite Flying". Flying Kites is a traditional game played all over India in the festival of Sankranti (Makar Sankranti). Families have fun together by competing with each other in cutting each others kites in the sky!
Our kites are hand-made. The paper used is best suited for the purpose of flying and also ensures durability. The charkhi is made of wood- deliberately fashioned in the way yesteryear's charkhis were made. Long yards of strong cotton thread accompanies the set.
